Thoughts While Staring Out the Window Above My Kitchen Sink: Attending the Academy Awards

Kitchen-Sink-Quotes

Wouldn’t it be something to attend the Academy Awards Ceremony one day?  I absolutely adore the movies and celebrities but if it ever came down to brass tacks and I really had the opportunity to go,  I think I’d politely decline so I could stay home and watch the Oscar ceremony on television.   If you love and have an appreciation for the art of acting like I do, some of the best performances you’ll ever see are during the Academy Awards when a nominee who doesn’t win pretends to be happy and excited for the nominee who did win.   I bet the people who are actually there miss a lot of that.

  2. Did you really just use the word “adore”?

    1. Dear Mother, do you understand that I write this from the perspective of the lady in the picture? If the quote were from me, my head would be under that bonnet or whatever it is she’s wearing

  3. Haha! That is so true. You just know some of the losers are hating!

    1. You could see it from the first award…
